Athena Cal Mag is a Calcium & Magnesium additive to be used alongside the base nutrient.
Certain plant varieties grown under full spectrum lighting systems will require additional supplementation of Calcium, Magnesium & Iron.
When growing in inert Coco coir blends and/or grow-wool for example, a Calcium and magnesium product will need to be added alongside the base nutrient to bring those particular nutrient stores up to adequate levels.
The base nutrients already provide adequate levels of Calcium and Magnesium for most situations. Facilitation of the Cal Mag is for those pushing their plants a little harder mainly under full spectrum LED lights like GRT MLEDs or Lumateks range of Full spectrum fixtures.
Dosage:
0.5ml – 0.75ml per L of water is ideal for most plants.
