How to choose the right fixings

Match the tape to the job

PPC tape's reinforced aluminium facing and aggressive adhesive make it suited to sealing ventilation joins, patching tears in tent fabric, and covering non-reflective surfaces so more light reaches your plants rather than being absorbed.

Straps vs. hooks

Use straps where equipment needs to be held firmly in place, such as carbon filters and inline fans. Hooks are better suited to lighter, adjustable attachment points, like hanging yo-yo supports from a tent's roof bars.

Check your tent for light leaks

Older or well-used grow tents are more prone to small tears and worn seams. A strip of reflective tape over these spots helps maintain a fully light-tight environment, which matters most during the dark period of a flowering cycle.
