Q: How do I turn my points into discounts?

When shopping online, log in to your A-Grade Rewards customer profile and click the View Your A-Grade Rewards Account button to view your available redemptions. Choose the amount you wish to redeem, and enter the issued coupon code at checkout. You will also receive an automated email with the coupon code if you decide to use it later. When shopping in store, let us know you have an A-Grade Rewards account and we can apply any eligible discounts manually, or give us one of your coupon codes and we will apply it to your purchase.

Q: What hydroponic products can I purchase with my redeemed A-Grade Rewards points?

Most of the A-Grade product range is eligible for discounts when you redeem your points. The following aren’t eligible: sale and clearance items, bundled kits and packs, LED grow lights, coco and clay balls, and pre-order items. Eligible products show the A-Grade Rewards Program badge on the product page. At checkout, your reward only applies to the eligible products in your cart, so make sure your eligible items add up to at least double the reward you’re using.

Q: How often can I use my redeemed points?

A-Grade Rewards points are limited to a maximum redemption of $100 per purchase, per day.

Q: I have entered a discount code and the checkout says it’s not valid. Why?

Make sure the discount code is unused and has not expired. Some products are not included in the A-Grade Rewards Program, and discount codes cannot be applied to them. Also check that the coupon value is not greater than 50% of the eligible cart value.

Q: How do I check my points balance?

Your up-to-date points balance is displayed on the A-Grade Rewards Program page when you log in.

How do I join A-Grade Rewards?

There’s nothing extra to sign up for. You automatically become an A-Grade Rewards member when you:

subscribe to the A-Grade newsletter
sign up in store, or
make a purchase online.

Once you’re a member, you’ll start earning points straight away.

How do I earn A-Grade Rewards points?

Every $1 you spend earns 5 points, and every 100 points is worth $1 off. That means a $100 order earns you 500 points, which is $5 off a future order.

As well as shopping with us, you can earn bonus points by:

Leaving a review: 150 points for each review of a verified purchase
Following us on Instagram: 100 points
Visiting our Facebook page: 25 points
Creating an account: 200 points
Celebrating your birthday: 200 points

How do I turn my points into discounts?

When shopping in-store, let us know you have an A-Grade Rewards account. We can apply any eligible discounts manually. Alternatively, you can provide us with one of your coupon codes, which we can then apply to your purchase.

Can I use my points with other discount codes?

No. A-Grade Rewards discounts can’t be combined with any other discount code, including the 10% newsletter sign-up code. If you have more than one code, use whichever saves you the most on that order.

I redeemed my rewards points and received my discount code...do I have to use it straightaway?

You have 6 months to use any discount codes.

What hydroponic products can I purchase with my redeemed A-Grade Rewards Points?

Most of the A-Grade product range is eligible for great discounts when you redeem your points. The following aren’t eligible:

Sale and Clearance Items
Bundled Kits and Packs
LED Grow Lights
Coco and Clay Balls
Pre-Order Items

How to check a product: eligible products show the “A-Grade Rewards Program” badge on the product page (see example below).

At checkout: your reward only applies to the eligible products in your cart. If your cart includes ineligible items, make sure your eligible items still add up to at least double the reward you’re using.

How many redeemed points can I use with my purchase?

You can use your points to cover up to 50% of the total price of eligible products. Rewards come in $5 steps ($5, $10, $15 and so on, up to $100), so your maximum is the largest $5 step that fits within that 50%.

Example: The Mills Basis A/B Set 2L is $37. Half of $37 is $18.50, but there’s no $18.50 reward, so the largest one that fits is $15 off. To use $20 off, your eligible products would need to total at least $40.

Quick check: Double the reward you’d like to use. If your eligible products cost at least that much, you can use it.

How often can I use my redeemed points?

There are a few reasons why a discount code might not be accepted at checkout.

First: Make sure the discount code is unused and has not expired.

Second: Some products and items are not included in the A-Grade Rewards Program, and discount codes cannot be applied against them.

Third: Ensure that the coupon value is not greater than 50% of the eligible cart value.

How do I check my points balance?

Your up-to-date points balance will be displayed on the A-Grade Rewards Program page when you login.

How long will it take for points to post to my account?

You receive points in your account instantly once you complete a purchase or complete a review.

Do my points expire?

Your points will expire if your account is inactive for longer than 2 years.

What happens to my points if I make a return?

If you return an item, the points you earned on it are removed from your balance.

How do I contact support if I have questions about my points?

I'm very close to earning a reward. Can I buy extra points to get there?

No. Points can’t be bought, only earned.

What if I don't want to receive promotional emails?

The A-Grade newsletter contains news and updates from the world of A-Grade Hydroponics. If you'd prefer to not receive those types of emails anymore, just click the 'Unsubscribe' button when you receive your next email.

What are the product review conditions?

With our loyalty rewards program, we encourage people to earn points through leaving product reviews on product pages on our site, however we also are looking for legitimate constructive reviews to help other customers make informed purchases.

A-Grade Hydroponics reserves the right to moderate and/or remove any reviews that we deem to be not constructive in nature, a fair review of a product or simply spam. We want our product review system to help people make better product choices for their needs, and reward people for taking the time to add their feedback.
