Shop hydroponic aeration and oxygen gear at A-Grade Hydroponics — air pumps, air stones and Oxy Plus to oxygenate your reservoir and help prevent root rot.
Dissolved oxygen is one of the most important, and most overlooked, parts of hydroponic growing. Roots take oxygen straight from the nutrient solution, and warm water holds less of it. When reservoir temperatures climb and oxygen drops, Pythium root rot can take hold fast. A hydroponic air pump and air stone keep the solution moving and oxygen-rich, while keeping water at around 18–22°C helps slow root disease.
This hydroponic aeration and oxygen collection brings together the gear you need to oxygenate a hydroponic reservoir: dual-outlet PondMAX air pumps, ceramic air stones for fine bubble diffusion, and Growth Technology Oxy Plus as a liquid oxygen top-up. It suits DWC buckets, RDWC systems and any reservoir-fed setup.
What's in this Collection?
PondMAX CT402 dual-outlet hydroponic air pump — 2.8L/min per outlet at 5W
PondMAX CT202 air pump — 1.5L/min per outlet at 4W
PondMAX 50mm ceramic air stone ball for even bubbles in small or round reservoirs
Aqua One ceramic air stone cylinder for fine bubbles in DWC buckets and rectangular tanks
Growth Technology Oxy Plus hydrogen peroxide for added reservoir oxygen and hygiene
Not sure where to start? One air pump and one air stone per reservoir is a simple, reliable setup for first-time growers. Larger or multi-site systems can run two stones from a dual-outlet pump. Call A-Grade Hydroponics on (03) 9555 6667 for help sizing your setup.
