The LUMATEK 30W UV Supplemental LED Bar adds targeted UV-A and UV-B output to your LUMATEK Zeus LED fixture. Designed to fit directly onto Zeus hardware, it has an integrated driver and can be daisy-chained with additional UV bars.

🌱 What it's for

UV supplementation is used by some growers alongside full-spectrum LED lighting during the flowering stage, typically starting at a 12 hour photoperiod and continuing until around 4 weeks before harvest. This bar delivers a controlled UV-B and UV-A dose without producing UV-C radiation.

🔬 A note on the research

Evidence on whether supplemental UV increases resin, terpene or cannabinoid content is mixed. Some industry trials report gains in specific terpenes or cannabinoids under certain UV wavelengths and doses, while peer-reviewed research has found no consistent yield or potency benefit from UV-B exposure, and in some cases a reduction in cannabinoid and terpene content at higher UV doses. Results appear to depend heavily on wavelength, dose, and cultivar. We recommend treating UV supplementation as an experimental addition rather than a guaranteed potency boost, and monitoring your own results closely.

⚠️ Safety advice

• Switch off power before installing or servicing the fixture
• Do not look directly at the light; UV-B radiation can damage eyes and skin
• Do not restrict airflow across the fixture, as heat build-up will reduce lifespan
• Do not let the bar contact any surface while switched on

🔌 Cabling

Each UV bar has a single input and output socket. You'll need one Power Cable for the setup, plus one Daisy Chain Cable for every additional UV bar. Running one bar alone needs just a Power Cable; adding a bar to an existing UV bar setup needs a Daisy Chain Cable.

A-Grade Hydroponics will honour all manufacturers warranties subject to the terms and conditions of those manufacturers. However warranty does not cover abuse, neglect, improper care, loss or damage from incorrect usage.

Warranty claims will be processed at A-Grade Hydroponics' discretion as a refund, repair or replacement. If products need to be returned to us for warranty purposes e-mail us at grow@agradehydroponics.com with the receipt/invoice number, date of purchase and a brief description of the fault (including photographs where possible). We will then issue you with a product return number.

All returns should be in original packaging and have the receipt/invoice number, date of purchase, and product return number enclosed. The product return number should also be written on the outside of the package for easy identification purposes.

A-Grade Hydroponics has a strict 'no returns' or refunds policy for liquid products, like nutrients, additives, gels, calibration fluids etc, so please choose these items carefully.

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY

Orders are shipped via Australia Post or shipping platform Big Post. Orders are generally dispatched on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Please allow for additional delivery time for remote areas. If you require express delivery, please contact our sales representatives at 03 9555 6667 or email grow@agradehydroponics.com to obtain a quote. 

Couriers will attempt delivery to the specified address. If no one is home to receive the delivery, the couriers will leave your parcel somewhere safe. If there is no safe place, re-delivery or collection will be offered by the carrier.

Due to the increasing frequency of online fraud and theft, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes and Parcel Lockers.

SHIPPING COSTS

All freight charges are calculated on weight, dimensions and location. We are committed to keeping shipping charges at a minimum and do not charge handling fees.

Please note: Freight costs are subject to change. Regional areas, large and bulky orders, and tail-lift delivery occasionally incur an additional levy. Should shipping costs need to be amended it will be to reflect the actual charges, and not incur additional ‘shipping and handling’ fees. We will notify you if this rare situation occurs.

A-Grade Hydroponics reserves the right to cancel the order if shipping costs become prohibitive and customers will be issued a full refund.

PAYMENT

All payments must be cleared before dispatch. Payments can be made online via PayPal, AfterPay, PayID or Electronic Funds Transfer. Payments can also be accepted via credit card by phoning 03 9555 6667.

Please allow at least 24 hours for payments to clear.

FULFILMENT OF ORDERS

You will be notified immediately if an item is permanently unavailable, with options for a replacement item at equal or higher value, refund or store credit.

All refunds will clear within 3-5 business days. Store Credits will be issued as an electronic Gift Card to be used online or in-store.
