Why Calibration Matters 🌿
Calibration solutions cross-reference the accuracy of your EC meter. By calibrating regularly, growers can ensure the readings taken from nutrient reservoirs or plant food concentrates are accurate and dependable.
This helps maintain proper nutrient strength and supports consistent hydroponic system management.
Directions for Use 🧪
-
Prepare the Sample
Pour a small amount of the AUSTRALIAN SCIENTIFIC 1413µS/cm solution into a clean, dry container. Do not place the probe directly into the bottle to prevent contamination. -
Temperature Equilibrium
Ensure the solution and conductivity probe are both at 25°C for accurate calibration. -
Rinse the Probe
Rinse the conductivity probe with deionised or distilled water before immersion. -
Calibrate the Meter
- Press and hold down the CAL button
-
Immerse the probe into the solution
-
Gently stir to remove air bubbles
-
Wait for the reading to stabilise
